IT:
We believe in using student-centered, project-based, exploratory learning. Your child will participate in projects where students work in small groups so that each child's strengths can be emphasized. While we do fun projects, that won't be the only type of work we do in the lab. Students in various grades will also practice English and Hebrew keyboarding, learn to do smart web searches, use graphic organizers, and enjoy educational games
Music:
Students in all grades attend music classes weekly. Classroom activities include group singing, listening to selections of music followed by class discussions, movement, program rehearsals, and student presentations. Music is also integrated into our classroom routines and circle times.
Physical Education:
MMS believes in a strong physical education program for all ages grounded in skill acquisition and physical fitness. Through movement and games, students learn the concepts of teamwork, sportsmanship, and discipline. Through a warm-up period each class, students will increase their physical strength and stamina. They will be taught how to function as a group and how to take and receive directions. Our goal is for the students to have fun in an athletic setting. This is achieved by starting to build a solid foundation in the areas of spatial orientation, body awareness, laterality, balance, locomotion, eye-hand coordination, rhythm, fitness, and endurance.
Mandarin:
Mandarin is introduced by a certified teacher as it relates to everyday life in Singapore. Words, songs and games will be taught as well as story telling and book discovery.
