We believe in providing a warm and stimulating environment in our school.

We pride ourselves on the caring, intimate atmosphere within the school and the nurturing personality of our staff. Our primary aim is to ensure that all the children at Manasseh Meyer School feel a sense of security and enjoy every learning moment of their time with us.

Through innovative and leading edge curricula like the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), we believe our children will be nurtured to be creative thinkers.  Because of the small class sizes, children are encouraged to develop at their own pace and personalized attention can be given where necessary.  Great emphasis is placed on the concept of developing the individual and we encourage the children to be "free thinkers" with their own defined personality.  Teachers are not just educators but role models. The rich and unique diversity of our community encourages respect and understanding of the other.

We believe that the role of caregivers is to guide behavior by positive reinforcement and encouragement. We aim to provide children with the necessary skills such as social, language and physical skills, and respect for people and their belongings.

Manasseh Mayer School is the only Jewish day school in Singapore.

Our school, while being a Jewish day school, is open to children of all religious and ethnic backgrounds.  The school is registered for children from preschool to grade 3.   We welcome children from the 18 months* upwards and have been doing so since 1996.

The mission of Manasseh Meyer School is to provide a dynamic,  child-centered program of academic excellence in a nurturing and stimulating environment. 

Our current premises¤ is located at the Sir Reuben Manasseh Meyer School building, known to all as the Menorah Club, the fully air-conditioned school occupies about 4000 square feet of space and caters to some 100 children.  It has 10 classrooms all equipped with up to date educational materials.  Our fully equipped kitchen provides hot lunches for the students everyday.  The school is designed in a warm environment ripe for learning, filled with color, shape and imagination. The classrooms are spacious and school's special events take place in our large Assembly hall.

The school operates from Monday to Friday.
Daily sessions begin at 8.30am in the morning and end at 3:00 pm.
Bus transportation is available both in the morning and afternoon.

In addition to our General and Judaic Studies teachers, our faculty includes Mandarin, Physical Education, Library, IT and Music specialists whose programs enrich student learning each and every day.

Our philosophy and aim is to provide quality care for all of our children.  This means providing a warm, happy, safe and caring environment where parents and children are made to feel welcome.  A stimulating program in a caring environment will only serve to enhance your child's learning.

Our program is designed to provide a balance between structured and unstructured activities.  Children are encouraged to use a wide range of equipment and materials for indoor and outdoor experiences.

• Intake is subject to the rules of the school and is at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
• We are currently working with the Singapore government to find new and larger premises.
